Brian Cooke - Director of Physical Activity - (Ba.ExerciseSc) - Senior lecturer of Health Science TAFE Kingscliff (5years), lecturer at Canberra Institute of Technology 06-07 & more recently back to TAFE Kingscliff. Creator of the Target Health system.

Brian lives and believes in what he teaches or put another way "walks his talk". He lives a very physical life outside of his teaching career. Until recently he competed in ironman events with a goal to one day qualify and compete in the Hawaiian Ironman event. For a 42 yr old guy this is no walk in the park. In case you don't know what an ironman event entails; it's a 4 klm swim, followed by a 180klm cycle, finished off with a full marathon. Yep that's 42klms. Now in case you thought this was on successive days, I have to tell you right now that's all in 1 day. Yes indeed it takes at least 10 - 12 hours to complete the event.

Now I am not telling you all this to scare you, but simply to tell you that this man truly believes in the power of physical activity. No he does not want to convince you to enter ironman events. However he wants to tell you about the preventative & healing power that physical activity provides and how you can implement an activity program of your own that meets your needs right now. It may simply be a walk around the block. It doesn't matter but as long as you "do something every day to move" is Brian's simple message.

Brian has developed some proprietary systems of his own including:

  • A simple 5 level activity system that you can take with you where ever you are in the world  and complete      daily. Brian will teach you how to tap into the preventative nature of physical activity that will truly amaze you.
  • A physical activity energy expenditure system that allows you to easily assess how much activity you need to manage your energy or weight management needs. 
  • Lastly his most  powerful product is what we call the LHP system that you will get to read more about in this site and we hope you get to personally experience and implement it's results into your life.
